The National Fisheries Association of Ghana (NAFAG) has formally petitioned President John Dramani Mahama to suspend the offshore reconnaissance licence granted to Gold Coast GRC Ghana Ltd. The licence covers roughly 10,000 km² along 300 km of coastline from Half Assini to Winneba, with substantial portions falling inside the Inshore Exclusion Zone.
